Alkane Resources Expands Gold Resources at Tomingley Operations

Alkane Resources has reported new gold zone discoveries at its Tomingley Gold Operations in New South Wales, Australia, following recent underground drilling at the Roswell Deposit and El Paso prospect. The drilling program focused on resource expansion outside current grade control areas, targeting both inferred and indicated resource categories to support future mine planning.

The Tomingley Gold Mine, operational since 2014, features both open-pit and underground mining, with a processing capacity of one million tonnes per annum. Recent exploration at the Roswell Deposit included extending drill hole RWD061 to a depth of 1,392m, intersecting gold-arsenic-enriched hydrothermal breccias and veining. Additional drilling at the Western Monzodiorite domain and El Paso prospect confirmed multiple high-grade gold zones, potentially increasing the resource base and supporting Alkane’s strategic development plans in the region.

  • Roswell underground resource: 5.5 million tonnes at 2.6g/t gold (approx. 476,000 oz Au)
  • Recent drilling: 21 holes (4,019m) at Roswell; 8 holes at El Paso and Westray
  • Mine operated by Alkane Resources, Tomingley Gold Operations, New South Wales, Australia
