Vanguard Commences 2025 Drilling at Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project in BC
Vanguard Mining has launched its 2025 diamond drilling program at the Redonda project, located in the Vancouver Mining Division near Campbell River, British Columbia. The program focuses on high-priority targets identified through a combination of airborne geophysical surveys and prior surface and drill data.
Recent drilling at Redonda has returned mineralized intervals up to 142.6 meters grading 0.279% copper and 0.0281% molybdenum. Previous campaigns identified a 174-meter mineralized interval from surface, with surface sampling averaging approximately 0.5% copper equivalent. The company holds all required permits and has engaged Paradigm Drilling, utilizing equipment capable of testing to depths beyond 600 meters. Step-out holes are planned to evaluate the continuity of porphyry-style mineralization along identified structural trends.
- Recent drill intercept: 142.6m at 0.279% Cu, 0.0281% Mo
- Permits secured for initial drill pads; program underway
